In October 2019, a small team of 2 dentists, 1 dental hygienist, and 3 physicians visited remote regions of Nepal where there is minimal to no medical support. They were joined by 2 local doctors and 1 local nurse.

This was a remote medical clinic with rich cultural experience and great walking trek with mountain views, monasteries, and the local community. It truly was a great experience, a once in a lifetime trip.

Day 02: Trek and drive to Basa with View of Everest and snow-capped Himalayan peaks and clinic set up at a local community health post
Day 03: Start medical Camp in Basa community health camp
Day 04: Medical Camp in the Basa community health camp
Day 05: Medical Camp in the Basa community health camp
Day 06: Farewell program and trek to Phueli, where Small World will be building a community health center
Day 07: Volunteers and Trek Taksindu overnight in Guesthouse with Monastery visit, meeting with the lama and great view of Himalayan Mountains
Day 08: Drive to Phaplu overnight in the guesthouse
Day 09: Fly to Kathmandu.
